House Rules – Guest House Rustico
Dear Guests,
Our accommodation units are equipped to meet the needs of modern travelers. We hope to meet your expectations and provide you with a comfortable and relaxing stay.
To avoid any misunderstandings, please familiarize yourself with the House Rules. For any additional questions or needs, feel free to contact the host — we are here for you.
General provisions
- Guests are required to comply with the House Rules throughout their stay.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their negligence or inappropriate behavior.
- In case of disturbance of the peace or conflicts with neighbors, you must notify the host immediately.
Check‑in
- Check‑in is possible between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
- At check‑in, please present a valid ID (identity card or passport) for registration with the Tourist Office.
- For children under 18, basic details and date of birth are sufficient.
Check‑out
- On the day of departure, please vacate the accommodation between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
- Before leaving, switch off all lights and electrical appliances, turn off the water, close windows, and lock the doors.
- Leave furniture and equipment in the condition in which you found them.
Quiet hours
- Please avoid making noise, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, to ensure peace and rest for all guests.
Children
- Children of all ages are welcome but must be registered with the host.
- Children up to 2 years stay free of charge.
- Children aged 3 to 10 are charged 50% of the accommodation rate.
- Children aged 11 and over are charged the full adult rate.
- Upon request and subject to availability, we provide:
- a free baby cot for children up to 2 years,
- an extra bed for children aged 3 to 10.
Playground
- Use of the playground is at your own risk. Parents are requested to supervise their children while playing.
Visitors
- Only registered guests are allowed to stay on the premises.
- Visitors are not permitted unless previously agreed and approved by the host.
Pets
Small pets are welcome with prior notice. Please observe the following:
- Do not leave pets alone in the room/house without supervision.
- Pets are not allowed to sleep on beds.
- Bathing, showering, or grooming pets inside the accommodation units is not permitted.
Smoking
- Smoking is not permitted inside rooms, houses, or enclosed spaces.
- Smoking is permitted on the terraces and in the garden in front of the property.
- In case of bad weather, you may use the covered gazebo in the garden.
Use of equipment and property
- It is forbidden to remove property or equipment from the accommodation (towels, blankets, electrical appliances, etc.).
- Use of personal devices that are not part of the provided equipment is allowed only with prior consent from the host.
Use of outdoor barbecue
- A covered outdoor barbecue under the gazebo is available free of charge to all guests.
- Use of the barbecue is possible upon prior arrangement with the host to coordinate times with other guests.
- Firewood is provided; guests must supply charcoal themselves.
- The barbecue may be used daily between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Use of air conditioning
- During operation of the air conditioning, windows and doors must be kept closed for efficiency and energy conservation.
- If you leave the accommodation temporarily, please turn off the air conditioning.
Damages and malfunctions
- If you notice any malfunction or damage, notify the host immediately.
- If damage was caused by the guest’s fault, the guest will bear the cost of repair or replacement.
Personal belongings
- Please do not leave personal belongings unattended.
- The host is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal property.
Dangerous items
- It is strictly forbidden to bring weapons, explosive substances, or highly flammable materials into the accommodation.
Emergencies
- In case of danger or need for urgent intervention, the host has the right to enter the accommodation in the guest’s absence.
- The guest will be notified of such entry at the earliest possible opportunity.
Termination of stay
- In the event of a serious breach of the House Rules, the host reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund.
If we all adhere to these simple rules, your stay at House Rustico will be safe, comfortable and pleasant. Thank you for your understanding and we wish you an unforgettable holiday in Lika, near Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia.
